Battery Dance verbindet die Welt durch Tanz. Das Ensemble verfolgt seinen Traum artistische Spitzenleistung und soziale Relevanz zu kombinieren, indem es dynamische neue Werke kreiert und auf den Bühnen der Welt auftritt, sowie auf öffentlichen Plätzen tanzt, jedoch auch Menschen aller Altersgruppen die verschiedensten Tanzstile beibringt. Dabei legt Battery Dance besonderen Wert auf die Arbeit mit Benachteiligten. Zudem widmet sich die Gruppe insbesondere Bereichen mit Konflikpotenzial. Battery Dance hat seine beliebten Dancing to Connect Workshops bereits in 26 deutschen Städten und 60 Ländern auf der ganzen Welt abgehalten. Das Ensemble entwickelte "Dancing to Connect for Refugee Integration" im Jahre 2016, um auf die drängende Problematik der sozialen Integration von jungen Flüchtlingen in Deutschland aufmerksam zu machen. Battery Dance Ziel ist es, die kulturelle Dynamik seiner Heimatstadt New York zu stärken und sein Programm darüber hinaus in den U.S.A. zu verbreiten und weltweit Brücken durch internationalen Kulturaustausch zu schlagen.

The Company pursues artistic excellence and social relevance by creating vibrant new works, performing on the world’s stages, presenting dance in public spaces, serving the field of dance and teaching people of all ages with special attention to the disadvantaged and areas of conflict. Battery Dance has conducted its acclaimed "Dancing to Connect" workshops in 26 cities across Germany since 2006, and in 60 countries around the world. The company developed "Dancing to Connect for Refugee Integration" in 2016 to help address the pressing issue of social integration for teenage refugees in Germany. Battery Dance is committed to enhancing the cultural vibrancy of its home community in New York City, extending programming throughout the U.S., and building bridges worldwide through international cultural exchange.
